Privacy

Wendelse is an independent travel-discovery project. If you have a question about privacy or how information is handled, contact wendelsetravel@gmail.com.
Saved Trips and your “I’ve been here” choices are stored in your own browser’s local storage, under the keys wendelse.saved-trips.v1 and wendelse.visited-destinations.v1. Saved Trips holds the destination and the search details you chose (starting point, date, number of days and interests). “I’ve been here” holds the destination and when you marked it.
These stay in that browser until you remove them or clear your browser data. They don’t move automatically to another browser or device, and Wendelse does not receive these lists.
When you make a supported dated search, Wendelse checks scheduled flights through its server-side flight-data service. It sends only what is needed: the departure airport, the outbound date, the return date (worked out from your trip length), and whether it is looking for departures or arrivals.
The flight-data provider processes that request under its own service arrangements. The credentials used to reach it stay on the server and are never exposed in your browser.
As with most websites, the hosting infrastructure may process normal technical information when you visit, such as the time of the request, the page requested, your internet address, browser or device details, and error and security information.
If you email Wendelse, your email address, your message and anything you choose to include will be used to reply. Correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably needed to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up.
Wendelse does not currently use advertising cookies, analytics or behavioural tracking. There is no account or sign-in system, and no live affiliate tracking is connected.
This notice will be updated before any non-essential tracking or live affiliate tracking is introduced.
Information may be processed by services needed to run Wendelse: the hosting provider, the scheduled-flight data provider when a flight search is made, and the email provider when you contact Wendelse.
You can remove Saved Trips and visited places using the controls in the app or by clearing your browser storage. You can contact wendelsetravel@gmail.com to ask about information you have sent by email. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
This notice may be updated when Wendelse’s features or service providers change. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
